This woodland garden near Wimborne was in need of a tidy up after storm Eunis, and some new planting to brighten up an otherwise dull and uninteresting border. Myself and team got straight to work and now the garden is looking neat and trim with the added bonus of some new plants to set the scene.
We cleared the debris, cut back and reshaped the hedges and trees, removed the bramble and weeds, then conditioned the soil ready for the plants to go in.
The plants that I chose for the woodland area were, fatsia japonica, Mahonia charity, Aucuba crotonifolia, Sarcocca confusa, Skimmia redruth, Osmanthus buckwoodii. This planting helps make the front entrance to this garden more inviting with the addition of structure, and colour throughout the year.
