I’m so happy I found Benita’s Garden Services. She and her staff have tidied up my front and back garden, helped redesign areas and advised and planted new shrubs. Benita and her colleague have now made two visits to my garden and I have been extremely happy with the results. An old hedge between two neighbouring drives had been removed leaving a long strip of vacant ground. I hadn’t a clue what to do with it so sought to find a professional gardener for some help and advice.

I wanted something low maintenance and to avoid replacing the old hedge with a new one. Benita’s suggestion of a mixture of evergreens and ground cover plants to add different heights, textures, and colour variations worked together beautifully.

We had a general idea of how our front garden should look in two or three years, but no experience of how to achieve it. Benita was very quick in picking up what our long term aim for the garden appearance was to be and agreed that our low maintenance preference could be achieved with new planting and the retention of established shrubs. Her interpretation was spot on, and with regular conversations with us about choices of plants/shrubs for colour/texture and flowering, and the suggested positioning of them, she has achieved a delightful looking garden that we are confident will quickly mature into a pleasing and manageable space. We have no hesitations in recommending Benita’s Garden Services.

Initially, I contacted Benita’s garden services in the autumn as I was interested in getting my garden tidied before we moved to our present house.

Both my husband and I were pleased with the work that was carried out by both Benita and her colleague and so contacted Benita’s garden services again for further help and ideas for our new garden.

After some thoughtful planning, it was decided that the clearing of a considerable rhododendron, mature willow tree, and the scrappy hedge was the way forward, creating an open space, and letting more light into the garden. These areas have ow been planned and replanted with a mix of shrubs and perennials, and we are very pleased with the creative design and choice of plants.
