We have been working to restore a neglected garden near Wimborne in preparation for the growing season ahead. The garden had been left unattended and let to grow a bit wild and so, I and my gardening colleague spent a day trimming back the hedges, pruning the shrubs, virginia creeper and roses, weeding the flower borders, clearing the leaves, and cutting the lawns. Now the garden is really beginning to take on a new lease of life, a place to relax in and enjoy especially with the promise of the warmer months ahead. We still have some tidying to do, and to add interest, some shrubs to plant, helping to restore the garden back to a more pleasing and inviting state!
